Well its offical....we are getting married! , the deposit is all payed up on the registry office , have a lookie here :http://www.kent.gov.uk/static/virtual-tours/dartford.html , the hall is all booked for the reception , the cake design is all sorted (see pic) and the dress half payed for , looking for suits next week , and samples of invitations are ordered......looks like we are well on our way to having a great day! it feels nice to be getting things sorted out so far in advance , since we arn't actually getting married until the 6th of july next year , but hey at least this way we wont have to worry about it all at the last moment! , we are having the anne of cleaves room (up to 30 people) because i cant stand the thought of having to walk in front of more than that all staring at me....my mums gonna have to push me down the isle as it is lol if i could get away with it i think id opt for the two of us in the canary islands or something very far away! but god imagine how many people would be very upset with me if i did that...actually id rather not think about it.

Heres a little more about the registry office :

Following the dissolution of Dartford Priory, Henry VIII chose the site to construct a Manor House between 1541 and 1544 for his personal use. Anne of Cleves was given the Manor House as part of her divorce settlement by Henry, and lived there between 1553 and 1557. Elizabeth I retained the use of the Manor House but only stayed there on two occasions. Today only the Gatehouse remains, offering a choice of three rooms for ceremonies.
The Lord Irving Suite, completed in the early 1990s, was added to the hall to provide a self contained prestigious and spacious function room. Ceremonies in this room can comfortably accommodate up to 80 guests.
Situated in the oldest part of the building, the Anne of Cleves Room features timbered beams. A tapestried lover's pew takes pride of place within the period fireplace. This charming room allows for up to 30 guests.
The beamed Hythe Room, suitable for small registrations with just four guests, provides an intimate atmosphere with views over the front garden.
At the front of the building is a walled garden featuring wooden seating and a stone sundial. The facade of the Gatehouse provides an interesting backdrop for photographic opportunities. To the rear of this historic building is yet another seating area, where pictures of the couple might be taken in a more private setting.

*New Necklace*

named this one "jet magic" because of the darkness of colours in this necklace , i think its perfect to acompany that special little black dress (ahem if you can get away with wearing a little black dress....unlike me lol).
